Too many people are invested in some mythical future version of themself. You can create space in your life to unmask, move your body and prioritise your well being as you are right now. At MOVE with Cam I’m not at all interested in changing you – I want to build a connection with you as you are – so that we can create a an hour in your life that brings out the best in you physically.
We all deserve space to breathe, move and talk without judgement or expectation.
Have you ever felt worn out by so-called ‘normative’ values? Whether it’s ideals around mental health, sexuality, gender, race, or neurotypicality, ablism or aesthetics? Are you bored by lazy language and attitudes around marginalisation, toxic ‘ideals’ and social ‘norms’? Well I am. At MOVE with Cam I’d love to help you can rebuild your relationship with your body and your whole self. Here, we deal in genuine facts: Diversity is normal and beautiful. We are all very similar biologically, just a big meat bag of organs and gasses. But as people we are all unique snowflakes – and that’s a beautiful, positive truth, no matter what.
Your body is yours and you are perfect as you are. Make space to get to know yourself better.
All of my clients contact me because they’re ready to commit to deeper changes but traditional exercise environments and approaches are not a good fit. Some of us need and want something a little special and different.
The difference here at MOVE with Cam is that I’m a coach, which means I approach your movement as an aspect of your whole life, and I coach you as a whole person with a full life.
I’ve made this place special by creating a calm studio where we get to know each other, so that each session about much more than training – it’s an hour for you. Even here – at first – there can be nerves, anxiety or stress from previous or current life experiences, but that’s okay, you can bring your whole life into this room and I’ll make space for it as we move to get stronger, fitter, more confident and resilient.
If you treat our work as a space and time for everything that you are, you’ll make progressive and sustainable changes without boring lists or smart goals. It’ll happen without them, and integrate seamlessly into your every day life.
You’re not just a meat bag with a list of moves and goals to complete. MwC is a safe place for the whole of you.
If you’re over 30, and connect with some of what I’ve said, then I might be the coach for you. If your only objective is to do with short term objectives, body, weight or skills gains, I’m probably not the coach for you right now – but maybe one day.
